Hi Jon,
          We've seen Chestnut-breasted Mannikins most times we go to
Capertee, and they come through Mulgoa Valley [Eastern foothills of Blue
Mountains/Western Cumberland Plain] routinely, in late summer as a rule,
along with feral Spice Finches.
