Birds Australia-North Queensland Group also produce brochures on areas
in our region
Birds of Cairns Gardens,
Redden Island, Machins Beach, Cairns
Binoculars and Telescopes - Information Guide
Atherton Tableland
Townsville and District
others are planed for Weipa, Bowen and a general list of birds in our
region which
is Queensland north of Mackay.
As with most of these projects we have problems funding them, the Cairns
Port
Authority have funded the Redden Island brochure - they own most of the
island which has road access. The
other brochures we photocopy as required.
We do send them out on email as a MS publisher file.
As well as giving information on the birding opportunities in the region
they are a
great publicity tool for our group.
