To Tony R. and others who have seen fewer water birds than expected at the usual spots: Remember they've just had phenomenal flooding rain in the outback/inland (is that an oxymoron?) and your missing birds are probably busy breeding as we speak. (Including, hopefully, most of the ducks etc that might otherwise have been shot in Victoria and elsewhere). Cheers!
