Perhaps some good news on an otherwise depressing list of extinctions.
I believe that there are some recent records of Yellow Chat from the
central Qld coast, including sightings by members of the Qld NPWS.
I don't think its been published, although I encouraged them to do so.
Since it's likely to be a very small population I won't be more
specific on the locality in this general arena. I only know of
it in fairly general terms anyway.
Whether the subspecies is valid is another matter!
