In the Cairns suburb of Trinity Park (16/48 S, 145/42 E) I observed a White Bellied Cuckoo Shrike nesting on power lines. The nest is hard up against an insulator and appears to be woven onto the insulator. This is the first time I have observed this species nesting on power lines. Has anyone else recorded this species nesting on powerlines?
