Hi All,
My wife and i  decided to check out the wetlands at La Trobe this
afternoon, between
12:00pm and 3:00pm. Wonderful weather and rather eye opening considering
we have
lived in the area for 7 years, and not visited!. Here is our list:-
Magpie
Australian Raven
Rainbow Lorikeet
Red Rumped Parrot (plenty!)
Welcome Swallow
Willie Wagtail
Superb Fairy Wren
Noisy Miner
White Plumed Honeyeater
New Holland Honeyeater
Clamorous Reed Warbler
European Goldfinch
Red Browed Firetail
Song Thrush
Common Starling
Common Myna
Spotted Turtle Dove
Rock Dove
Red Wattlebird
Galah
Magpie Lark
Little Grassbird?
Silvereye?
Silver Gull
Darter
Pied Cormorant
Black Swan
Magpie Goose
Cape Barren Goose
Mallard
Pacific Black Duck
Chestnut Teal
Australian Wood Duck
Dusky Moorhen
Eurasian Coot (plentiful)
Purple Swamp Hen
White Faced Heron
