Just back from our Twichathon and this is our score:

 

Team: Birds and Bush Birders

 

Team Members: Ian Clayton, Ken Cross, David James and Malcolm Turner.

 

Area covered: Within 100 kl radius of Townsville, North Queensland

 

Distance travelled: 540 kl.

 

Score: 234 species

 

Best Birds:

 

1.    Zitting Cisticola (we seem to think this is a first for an Australian Twitch?)

2.    Grass Owl ( a first for two team members)

3.    Australian Pratincole (I guess it was the way we got it)

 

I would be interested in getting scores from other teams around Aus.
