Another Twitchathon in Far North Queensland with another great result!

Only two teams took part, one in Townsville and one from the Atherton Tableland.

" Birds and Bush Birders" from Townsville with team members David James, Ian 
Clayton,  Ken Cross &
Malcolm Turner got a total of 232 species. Their best birds were Zitting 
Cisticola, Grass Owl and
Australian Pratincole. Their worst dip was a Welcome Swallow.


"Rose Between Two Thornbills"  from the Atherton Tableland with team members 
Ian Sinclair. Mark
Newton and Amanda "Rose"  Freeman, got a total of 180 species. Their best bird 
was a Black-breasted
Buzzard at Abattoir Swamp, Julatten and their worst dip Bridled Honeyeater.

Both teams raised lots of funds
