Are Grey Currawongs on the move at this time of year? There was one reported here last week on the shores of Corio bay (in a residence at Geelong Grammar School) - about 30Km from where you'd expect to find them in the Brisbane Ranges. The observer, Don Greaves, was very experienced both generally and with this species. We've also had a few Pallid Cuckoos this year, first time at this spot for a few seasons, although they are usually around the Geelong area every year.
