It is my belief that in the township of Balnarring on the Mornington Peninsula yesterday and today a pair of Grass Owls were sighted ?? Could it be possible this far South ?? This is what I'm asking ?? Person is not a birding person but I believe them entirely. Showed him all my birding books and he picked it out straight away from my Pizzey and Knight ! page 306. Said the pair were swooping from pine/gum trees in to the grass ? about 400 metres down the Balnarring beach road. Plenty of field mice there. Anyone ??????? My own question is this has anyone ever seen the very peaceful co-existance of Galah, Eastern Rosella and Rainbow Lorikeet in the wild ? _____________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
