I know that many Queensland, indeed many Australian and overseas birders, will be saddened to learn that DAWN ALLEN passed away on Saturday morning. Dawn was a stalwart among Queensland birders. Many will know of her vision in establishing a Bird Sanctuary at her Mitchell property. The funeral is at the ALL SAINTS church on Wednesday 28 July 1999 at 2pm.
