Gooday all,
Only one reply about the Collinsville Dump Birdkill. Thanks for the info on 
the fly baiting link but this was not part of the likely cause on this 
occasion. Bowen Shire did contact the Queensland Dept. of Environment and 
Heritage but they did not seem too interested.
Could anyone out there advise me if a policy exists for this Department to 
carry out a set procedure for the investigation and reporting of these 
events?
It seemed inappropriate that all birds were buried and none taken for an 
autopsy to determine the cause.
Collinsville is approx 80Km SW of Bowen Qld.
