G'day All,
Whilst doing my best to get out and about on a very soggy weekend down
here on the Mornington Penninsula,
sadly, I went back twice to the locales of my two swift parrot
sightings earlier last week and could find none.
Knowing here when it rains is a very good time to fish Western Port bay
I headed off for the local Hastings Marina.

Happy at seeing the resident 60 -- 80 Sacred Ibis.
( On the grassed area in font the Marina )
Happy at seeing the resident 20 -- 25 Pelican.
Happy at seeing the resident 200 -- 300 gulls.
Happy at seeing the many numbers and varied species of sea bird I
journeyed on feeling a tad hungry to the local fish and chip shop. To
be greeted with Sorry Mr. G. were all out of your fish ????? went back
to check the weight of those pelican that were smiling at me, I'm sure
they were ? know I now why !

Wet weekend on the Peninnsula :
