This is semi-arid Mallee country,( where the hairy-nosed wombats live ), and I observed groups of 20 or more Mallee Ringnecks coming in at about 7am to drink the dew formed overnight on the corrugated iron roof of our shelter. Has any-one else seen them drinking like this ? Four Mallee Ringnecks were also seen momentarially drinking the dew formed on top of one of our tents. It is still fairly dry there at the moment. > - Two wombats were seen as we drove out of the Park at 3:30 - 4:00 pm. Cheers, Peter.
