Hi all
A pair of breeding Glossy Black-Cockatoos have been discovered
in the
Paluma Range to the north of Townsville. This is some
400 km north of
all previous breeding records. The site is being
kept under wraps at
moment due to the concern of nest security. The birds
were discovered
just previous to Easter.

To a man ornithologists are tall, slender, and
bearded, so that they can stand motionless for hours, imitating kindly
trees, as they watch for birds.
