Yes, do build.
But what do you plan to do with them? If you intend to give them away
I'd suggest offering them to or through your local school or local
garden club &/or Landcare Group, along with instructions on where to
install them (in locations with few natural nest hollows but some spp of
birds that might use them). If you want to sell them the same applies
but you might have to work harder at promoting them and the benefits of
encouraging bird life.
