Atlassers who used a GPS receiver over Easter will have noticed the stability of the location displayed. I understand that this is because the US Dept of Defence has turned off GPS selective availability to assist NATO's operations in the awful war in Yugoslavia, as they did during the Gulf war. It is also said that they intend turning off selective availability permanently (quite independently of the war) in August this year. Does anyone have information to confirm this?
