birding-aus Tony Palliser wrote."What Aus. birds have you seen in captivity and where." We saw a very bedraggled and unhappy Laughing Kookaburra at Spion Hall Falconry Centre near Thirsk, Yorkshire in July '97. I might add the Raptors both Owls and Hawks were in good nick and well managed, the only other Aus. Avifaunal rep. was a Boobook.
