On few occasions last summer, paddocks surrounding Serendip had varying
numbers of Magpie Geese on them. I haven't seen any this year, although I am
rarely out that way at the moment.  In regards to wether it is still a
research establishment, they were carrying out a breeding program with
Brolgas and also with Aust. Bustard until recently - not sure of present
situation though.
