Hi folks, not much to report,an even more boring trip than the last Sydney trip.Conditions ideal, travelled out 57 kilometres east of Southport onto the Continental Slope, seas ,up to 1.5 metres on up to 3 metre swell with 10-20 knot winds E-SE.,not what I would call too uncomfortable, only one person sea-sick.Pity about the birds though, here are the more interesting ones;Tahiti Petrel-5
                        Wedge tailed Shearwater-73
                        Flesh footed Shearwater-6
                        Fluttering Shearwater-1
                        Sooty Tern-8
                        Common Noddy-1
Not all Southport trips are this boring,we do occasionally get exciting birds, like Crested Tern,Silver Gull, etc.Hope to see you out with us soon!Regards, Paul Walbridge.
