I'm sorry to hear that.  I'm sure there must have been extenuating
circumstances at the time of your enquiry.  Or at least I hope there were.
For my own part when Fay and I were planning our Tasmanian trip - and we did
have the entire 11 endemics on our Hit List - we received a number of
helpful replies from Taswegians.  That included very useful information from
the people at the National Parks when we called in at their office.

Perhaps the fact that there may not be too many birders in Tassie and that
fewer of them would be online is part of the answer.  Maybe unfortunate
timing on your part - you were asking when no one was home to accompany you
around the island.
