Howdy, Just yesterday I observed 3-4 galahs being chased quite casually by what I could only ID as either a Peregrine or Black Falcon. I only saw the shillouette so I could not distinguish it as being either. It was so casual one may have even thought they were simply flying together! If Phillip's comments about Peregrines having a taste for Galahs are true can I then assume that the bird was a black falcon? Or course I won't hazard a guess for my own lists or atlas surveys but it is intersting to speculate. -Dylan ----Signature---- Dylan O'Donnell Soon to be offically released Australian Digital Music Online http://magrathea.mur.csu.edu.au:8041/ "I am a reflection, like the moon on the water..." ------end-------- |
