Good on you Karen. I for one am all for enthusiasm in the joy of discovery. Where did you do the birding introductory course? If you do get a picture, I'm sure I can find a place for it online, should you wish. Do any others on the list remember the first bird you identified "all by yourself"? The Golden Whistler was mine - it joined in a "conversation" between me and a Grey Shrike Thrush. For bright yellow birds they are often difficult to see in all their finery.
