On the Bird Observer's Club outing last Sunday at Baileston/Nagambie there
were also huge numbers of Caper White Butterflies and other species seen
crossing roads and pausing to nibble on flowers in the "Chinese scrub".

Led by Fred Smith, the outing was held on a pleasantly warm although windy
day. The bird species count was not that high (54) because of the wind, but
several good birds including Gilbert's Whistlers and Chestnut-Rumped
Thornbills were seen.

Not however any Painted Honeyeaters.
