Hi all The first Koel Cuckoo for the Sydney Region appears to be one heard & seen (?) in Centennial Park by John Robertson on 1/9/98. This is a very early date as usually the date is late September early October. However it is not the earliest date, that was 18 August 1974 (per The Birds of Sydney 1990 E.S. Hoskin) Alan Morris NSWFOC Records Officer |
