Hi All,
For whoever is keeping records...
I saw 5 hooded plovers on the Coorong (South Australia) on Saturday.
They were wading and feeding on the northern (or human habitated) side of
the Coorong in the Magrath Flat area about 24kms south of Meningie. Two
were in good coloured plumage and the other three appeared to be immature
birds. They were seen at around 4:00pm and were in the compay of about 60
red necked avocets, hundreds of black winged stilts and banded stilts.
cheers
Mauro
