Hello Robert

White-headed Pigeons have been fairly regular visitors to the St Ives area
for thee past at least seven or eight years . As Alan points out privet
seems to be the main attraction. However, they are also irregular but
consistent diners at my feeder with up to four birds on one occasion. One
was present today ( a female ) .

It was a great day for birds. In or near my garden were :
Rainbow lorikeets, King parrots, Whiteheaded pigeon, Yellowtailed black
cockatoos (4), Rose robin, Crimson rosellas, Redwattle birds, Redbrowed
finches, Lewins honeyeater and a pair of Peewees (a rare bird here) .

A great day for birds.
