Hello all... Lorne here... After all the hype about Regent Honeyeaters and Swift Parrots in the Castlereagh State Forest area on the weekend, I went there on Monday and had a look... NO Regent Honeyeaters or Swift Parrots!!!!!!!!! Then I went to Windsor to look for the Square-tailed Kite seen by Edwin 'Lucky man' Vella... NO Square-tailed Kite!!!!!!!!!!! Earlier last week I went after the Regent that had been seen in Mugga ironbarks on the Pacific Highway, near Wahroonga... NO Regents!!!!!!!!! So there you go. Just a short, honest, e-mail proving that birding is not always successful!!!!! LGJ. PS - Have others out there had problematic, frustrating trips, where you just DON'T see the bird(s) you're after????? Mail them in! |
