Bob Handfield asked: >Has anybody seen any swift parrots near Sydney this week? There was one >report at the zoo - has anyone checked that out? These would be a great >lifer for both my wife and I. I'm in Sydney at the moment and have been told that there were a number of easily seen Swift Parrots in the flowering eucalypts (Swamp Mahogany?) at the Zoo yesterday, both those at the main entrance near the Information Centre and particularly those around the koala enclosure (in mixed flocks with Rainbow and Musk Lorikeets).
