Ian Hutton has information covering many years of keen observation of LHI birds, including migrating species, and their recent colonisation. He is taking a tour group to LHI in November, and will cover birds, plants, corals, geology, fish and continuing research on the spate of large landslides that followed flood events in the last two years, and may correlate to world weather pattern changes. Ian is a retired weather observer, now a professional naturalist, but is free with his considerable knowledge. He has similar knowledge of Fraser Island and the Coff's hinterland. Ian can be phoned in Coffs Harbour on 61 066 584 640 (no email), or I can pass on emails messages. Cheers David Roots |
