In regards to all the various people who have been mentioning the high
traffic flow of late on birding-aus, perhaps it would be worthwhile to
consider making the list available as a digest? Other lists, suchs as
Birdchat, are available in digest form where all of the messages from one
day are compiled into one large email. So instead of getting the 50 or
more emails from birdchat per day I only get one. The disadvantage of the
digest is that you have to scroll through the entire email to get to the
parts you want, but at least you only get one email per day.
I dont know if receieving one huge email instead of many small ones
affects those with commercial internet access, but it's worth a thought.

all is quiet on the birding front, although I did see a very quiet
fan-tailed cuckoo in the Blue Mountains the other day, and New Holland
honeyeaters chasing Spinebills in the Mountain Devil bushes, and a small
flock of happy sittellas glaning bark around Blackheath.

good birding!
