I for one much prefer the many messages and wouldn't like to get one huge one and have to scroll through the whole thing the too-many-mails problem is alleviated if people put informative titles on their mails so one can delete some without reading them - i did this for the dongas i thought the "use the archive instead" suggestion would work well if i wanted to be very selective - but actually i don't!
