RFI Varied Sittella race albata or Pied Sittella

I am currently giving the Bowen Shire Council assistance with their web 
page. 
Since arriving at Bowen I have searched for the "Pied Sittella" but with 
no luck since 1984. I believe this bird was collected a number of years 
ago from the Bowen region and was included in issues of "What bird is 
that" Cayley.
I would greatly appreciate any info on our local rarity.
