Right at this moment my favourite birds are the grey-crowned babblers. I had a delightful time this morning watching 6 of them playing on top of a tank. They were in high spirits and were alternatively wrestling with each other, or facing each other and taking it in turns to jump high in the air. At times they would go for the other one's leg with a great tackle. Then one bird would end up flat on its back with a second standing on its chest. They all took it in turns to play the different roles and came very close to falling off the tank a couple of times! They made my day!
