Hawkesburry trip report... Sunday the 19th of October...

WHITE-WINGED CHOUGH - Seven or eight were seen on Pebbly Hill Road, near
Cattai/Mitchell Park. (1st time I've ever seen them there!)

PALLID CUCKOO - Scheyville Paddocks.

DUSKY WOODSWALLOW - 3 or 4 at Scheyville PAddocks.

BROWN QUAIL - One flushed from roadside on Cornwallis Road.

YELLOW-TUFTED HONEYEATER - 20 or more at Mitchell PArk, Cattai.

WONGA PIGEON - Calling continuously at Mitchell Park.

In previous weeks there have been Speckled Warblers at Scheyville. NO
(Blast!!!) Black-eared Cuckoos as yet. An Azure Kingfisher was at
Mitchell Park.

People should be wary of shooters at Scheyville. The cracks of guns go
off at the eastern end of Longneck Lagoon, in a close-by paddock. I
haven't seen them, just heard them. Be careful.

Also... BLACK-FACED MONARCH at Cumberland State Forest.

Cheers, LORNE.
