I'm thinking of going soon to Hattah and those parts to try, once again, for the elusive Striated Grasswren. However, I've heard that those areas are in the grip of drought at present and the SGWs are not calling with their usual gusto, is this true? Also, does anyone know any sites for Slender-billed Thornbill in those parts? @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Dr John Leonard PO Box 243, Woden, ACT 2606, AUSTRALIA 'The pavement-coloured dog Sniffs the pavement-kerb.'
