Hi Glen, It is interesting you say that Coxen's Fig-Parrot has gone because on my recent trip to Aussie Dave Stewart jnr. informed me that there were recent photos of the (sub)species taken in northern NSW. Do these photos exist or is it more rumours? Talking of rumours have there been any good ones recently for the continued existance of Paradise Parrot? Now there's a good one for a research project!! Also what about Night Parrot, when are we going to be able to tick that one off? With reference to Jim Hengeveld's posting about identifying parrots it's not the identification that's the problem it's finding the ¿ things. Bye for now, Tony. PS I found a Blue-winged Teal on Tenerife yesterday Tony Clarke C/ República Dominicana, Nº 61, Barrio de Fátima, 38500 Güimar, Tenerife, Canary Islands, SPAIN. Tel: +34 22 524291 Fax: E-Mail: |
