SYDNEY (NSW) pelagic, Saturday, 27th September 1997
A successful beginners outing. Bird wise an average September trip with
fine calm conditions throughout the day. Bird Species were down on previous
September trips probably because of the calm conditions. Highlights for
most were the Hump-backed Whales and the Wandering Albatross. Also of
interest was an unidentified passerine and an unidentified wader seen
beyond the shelf.
