Hi again to everyone,
        of course I also recorded the feral birds and agree that they are 
part of the ecosystem.  The 'rules' of the get to work totals, however, were 
set by the first sender who didn't include them and that seems fair enough.  
Record them for ecological sampling and research but I am not sure they need 
to clutter the bird lists on birding-aus (at least on such an esoteric 
thread).  I also realise that a number of the birds seen in central melbourne 
(most of the parrots) are probably escapees but that becomes a more 
troublesome decision on inclusion and non-inclusion.
