I was informed today about a Fiordland Penguin found at Northcliffe on the south coast of WA. It is being looked after in a backyard swimming pool. It is feeding well and is expected to be released in a few days. This is reported to be the 6th record for WA. Unfortunately, I am busy writing my web pages, and Northcliffe is just a bit more than a day return trip from Perth. The weather in Perth is beautiful (except for record freezing at night), and so the pelagic on Sunday should be excellent. ____________________________________________________________ Frank O'Connor Argyle Diamonds 8C Hardy Road PMB 11 Nedlands WA 6009 West Perth WA 6872 Phone +61 8 9386 5694 +61 8 9167 1445 Fax +61 8 9167 1438 Email |
