Over the weekend an annual meeting was held at the Birds Australia HQ in Melbourne to discuss potential changes, workload, improvements etc to the RAOU Records Appraisal Committee. One of the items on the agenda was the possibility of a name change which reflects the RAOU change to Birds Australia. Possibilities proposed included: 1. Birds Australia Rarities Committee 2. Australian Rare Birds Committee (A division of Birds Australia) 3. Australian Rarities Committee (A division of Birds Australia) What are your views? which of these do you prefer? Do you have another suggestion for a name that could be used by the committee? Please let me know by return email. Results will be announced in June after approval from Birds Australia.
