I have just been told by a visiting English birder Robin Atherton that he saw the Erect Crested Penguin at the 12 Apostles today. It was his fourth visit today so obviously it is spending lots of time lurking. I'm afraid I forgot to ask him about the state of its plumage. He is off to Tasmania and when he comes back will go to South Australia and then I think WA. He is desperate to see a Grey Falcon. Does anyone know where one is? He has his own transport and judging by his tone, if someone could guarantee one at Tibooburra he'd probably go for it! Margaret Cameron |
