Good evening, whilst surfing the net, I found an interesting site relating to finding yourself and plotting a trip to a birding spot (or anywhere). The site is listed below The question for the evening is this, do any of the chat-heads in chat land have any experience with the portable GPS unit called Travelmate? It works on laptop computer (needs a CD_ROM) and a mapping program. It appears that it came directly from James Bond. http://www.delorme.com/products/tripmate/ If there is any interest, post to the group. If there is none, just send me your experiences. Thanks in advance. Dick Wood Tucson, AZ En la tierra del sol y el cactus saguaro |
