Well, there is no surf in Townsville, but last year I saw about 30 Aust. Grey Teal swimming, playing & feeding in the outfall of a sewage pipe at Cleveland Bay Treatment Plant. The pipe extends about 400m out into the bay. It gives food for thought to duck-shooters who eat their kill. (heh-heh-heh). Rafael |
