Weather: 1.5 m swell. 5 knot wind from south-west. Clear skies; cloudy in
afternoon. 10-15 knot wind in afternoon from south-west.
Departed 6.30 am and returned 4.00 pm.

from Lawrence Rocks. One dead 1/2 decomposed at 26 nm.

Wandering Albatross (2) 1/3 stage and 1st stage juvenile.

Shy Albatross (300) most immatures

Australasian Gannet (8000) at Lawrence Rocks. Two birds 26 nm from
Lawrence Rocks.
Black-faced Cormorant (150) at Lawrence Rocks.
Peregrine Falcon (3) pair with one young at Lawrence Rocks.
Sooty Oystercatcher (2) at Lawrence Rocks.
Pacific Gull (4) two at Lawrence Rocks and two in harbour.
Silver Gull (1) in harbour.
Crested Tern (20) up to 10 at 26nm from Lawrence Rocks.
White-fronted Tern (1)
