I'm trying to boot off the CF card on a 7200 with a recent (3.3.8) kernel.
I get a kernel panic:
[ 2.160000] VFS: Cannot open root device "sda2" or unknown-block(0,0)
[ 2.170000] Please append a correct "root=" boot option; here are the
available partitions:
[ 2.170000] 1f00 8192 mtdblock0 (driver?)
[ 2.190000] Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs
on unknown-block(0,0)
I've turned on all the scsi and ata stuff I can find:
CONFIG_SCSI_MOD=y
CONFIG_SCSI=y
CONFIG_SCSI_DMA=y
CONFIG_SCSI_PROC_FS=y
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_SD=y
CONFIG_CHR_DEV_SG=y
CONFIG_SCSI_MULTI_LUN=y
CONFIG_SCSI_WAIT_SCAN=m
CONFIG_SCSI_LOWLEVEL=y
CONFIG_ATA=y
CONFIG_SATA_AHCI_PLATFORM=y
CONFIG_ATA_SFF=y
CONFIG_ATA_BMDMA=y
CONFIG_PATA_PLATFORM=y
What am I missing? I'm coming back to TS72xx development, and I'm
really rusty....
