Yes, the TS7500 has an SDHC card slot so a 4GB card will be fine.  I have used 2 gig and 8 gig cards in my TS7500 boards.  The card has to be set up correctly to work with the board's bootloader, so the easiest way to get up and running is to download the .dd image from the FTP site (ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/images/ts7500/sdimg-ts7500.dd) and use the Linux dd command to copy the image from the file to the SD card.  From there you can use fdisk and resize2fs to expand partition 4 to the end of the free space.  Otherwise your 4 gig card will be limited to 2 gigs.  If you receive strange errors, try running badblocks to make sure the card doesn't have bad sectors.

Hi,

I have a TS7500 board but didn't buy the microSD card and am trying to use my own microSD card. I cannot manage to get it working properly.

I am trying to use a 4GB microSD card whereas the one that comes with the board is 2GB. Can the TS7500 handle a 4GB SD card ?

I've even formatted the SD card with a 2GB partition and tried to mount it but I get an Input/Output error.

Looking through the dmesg output on the TS7500 when trying to mount the SD card there are "unable to read superblock" errors.

any ideas?

Thanks,
George
