Thanks, Jim. I may end up doing just that. There is a reference in section 1.3 of the TS-7260 manual: "Note: This board includes software power control for on board peripherals to minimize power consumption (as low as ½ Watt) for use in power sensitive designs – ideal for battery-powered applications."
