NO! It is your safety net!
How did you set up the CFdisk?
The CFdisk is partitioned and the first (maybe only) partition is
formatted with an ext2 File system?
If you boot from the flash, can you mount the cfdisk?
Can you cut and paste the output from the console, and the messages when it
fails to load the kernel?
