We actually use 3 ccd sensor blocks that digitize infrared emitting LEDs. Based on the strength and perceived position of the IR image we calculate to high accuracy a point in 3 dimensional space. The sensor block camera array is a system we've ha for years, were now trying to incorporate the SBC into the camera array.

I just wanted to know if anyone had used 8 DIO pins to input 8 bits of data at 25 MHz before.

why a ccd? why not use an ip camera? Then its an easy problem

Hello,

I ordered a TS-7500 today and expect to receive it some time next week.

I'm looking to collect 8-bits of data at 25MHz (from 3 CCD sensor blocks daisy-chained) and transfer them to a computer over TCP/IP. I was planning on using the DIO pins on the expansion header to collect the data and maybe use a .C or .CPP routine to transfer the data to the computer.

I was wondering if anyone has done anything like this before and could maybe steer me in the right direction before I get the actual board and begin experimenting with it.

Thanks!
Mike
